Matius Ho (Executive Director) and Daniel Adipranata (Training Director) discuss ways to further develop the cooperation between the Leimena Institute and the Evangelical Christian Church in Timor (GMIT) with the Church Synod Chairman, Rev. Robert Litelnoni, at the synod headquarter in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara province on February 15, 2013. The partnership focuses on citizenship education for the church’s congregations through Civic Discussion and other training program. The GMIT church has registered members of more than 1 million people.

On February 14, 2013, around fifteen pastors and elders who facilitate Civic Discussion program in the Evangelical Christian Church in Timor (GMIT) in Kupang city meet with the Leimena Insitute training team to discuss progress and plans to develop the program. The facilitators joined our Civic Education training in 2012. Kupang City District Chairman Rev. Yance F. Nayoan (not seen in picture) leads this meeting at the district headquarter.

Having successfully bred the cow to produce a calf for his own, Yohanis Seubelan handed the cow to Mrs. Maria Gia Olla in Manusak village, East Nusa Tenggara, on February 15, 2013. Mrs. Olla is a new member of the cattle breeding program by the Leimena Insitute to improve the economy of the farmers. This initiative develops upon the succesful corn cultivation program started in 2009.
