The 66th Citizens Education Training of Trainers
Rantepao, South Sulawesi. February 15-16, 2016
The Toraja Church Synod (GT), in collaboration with Leimena Institute, held the 66th Citizen Education Training of Trainers (TOT) on February 15-16, 2016 in the Toraja Church Tangmentoe Training Centre in Rantepao, North Toraja Region, South Sulawesi. The training was attended by 36 pastor proponents and 13 pastors/elder from Toraja churches, and was facilitated by Budi Setiamarga (Director of Center for Religion and State Studies (CRSS)), and Daniel Adipranata (Deputy Director of CRSS).
This training was aimed to produce facilitators in around Toraja Church that are able to deliver the four modules of Citizen Education, which are: Responsible Citizens, Christianity and Politics, The Affects of the 1945 Constitution Amendment, and Your Voice is Valuable. It is hoped that the four modules can be used to help build the nationhood spirit in the Toraja Church.
