Declaration of Indonesian Christian Students Network for the Nations

Christian Student Fellowship – Persekutuan Mahasiswa Kristen ‘PMK’ Network, represented by 200 students from 60 campuses in Indonesia, gathered at Institut Teknologi Harapan Bangsa (ITHB) campus for Nationhood Declaration. Dr. Ir. Budi Setiamarga (Director of Center for Religion and State Studies) from Leimena Institute also steered the declaration with Dr. Ir. Samuel Tarigan (Rector, ITHB), Rev. Dr. Nus Reimas (Council of Indonesia Evangelical Churches and Institutes), Ir. Jonathan Parapak, MSc (Rector, Universitas Pelita Harapan), Ir. Hendry Feriadi, MSc., PhD (Rector, Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana), and Rev. Dr. Ir. Bersih Tarigant (Founder, ITHB).

The content of Nationhood Declaration is a reflection of Indonesian Christian students desire to survive and build the Unitary State of Indonesia Republic – Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia ‘NKRI’ based on Pancasila and 1945 Constitution.  This is to envision Indonesia future that value equality, tolerance, and anti-radicalism. This PMK Network also intends to to strengthen nationhood awareness and contribute the best for the country and nation. These PMKs are expected to continue taking care of Indonesia nationhood by staying committed to the declaration.
