Synod Secretary Rev. Benjamin Nara Lulu chaired the discussion which was also attended by Vice Chair Rev. Welmintje Kameli-Maleng and Vice Secretary Rev. Ince Touselak. Therefore, it is one of the main issues that Dr. Paul Marshall, author of the \u201cGod and the Constitution\u201d (Rowman &amp; Littlefield, 2002), will focus on his program with the Leimena Institute beginning this year in 2014. His first lecture in Indonesia on \u201cChristianity and Politics\u201d was delivered at the Evangelical Christian Church in Timor (GMIT) Synod in Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur, on August 15, 2014, attended by pastors and elders of GMIT churches.
