Maluku\u2019s Governor Said Assagaff, together with Rev. A.A. Yewangoe and CCI Maluku Region\u2019s Chairman Rev. Lies Mailoa, went to visit the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) of Maluku in Ambon on August 25, 2014, for a discussion, which was greeted warmly by the Council\u2019s leaders. This was one of the issues addressed by Leimena Institute\u2019s Senior Fellow Paul Marshall in a roundtable discussion with private sector leaders on \u201cThe Role of Business in Promoting Inter-Cultural and Inter-Religious Peace and Harmony\u201d in Bali on August 29, 2014. The program was part of the Sixth Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC). The roundtable discussion, which was opened by Indonesia Global Compact Network\u2019s President YW Junardy, was also attended by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon who gave the keynote address that evening.
