Can education play a role in building relationship within Abrahamic Family? If yes, what kind of education that honor meeting points and respect the differences in this multi-religions? What is the real form of such education? These are several questions discussed in the International Webinar “Building Mutual Understanding between Muslims, Christians, and Jews as an Abrahamic Family through Education”. The zoom webinar held on January 18th, 2021 was highly welcomed by the attendance of 1689 participants from Indonesia and more than 17 other countries.<\/p>\n

This is the fourth international webinar on Abrahamic Family hosted by Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Leimena Institute. Minister of Religious Affairs, H. Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, opened the webinar officially and relayed his message that such Abrahamic Family webinar should be multiplicated and spread widely to give understanding that religion should be positioned in its original message, to bring peace, to be constructive, and not causing conflicts. Ambassador Jakob Tobing (Chairman, the Leimena Institute) and Dr. Alwi Shihab (Senior Fellow, the Leimena Institute) also gave their remarks.<\/p>\n
