Matius Ho, the Leimena Institute’s Executive Director, lectured on the historical birth of Indonesia and the background of religious diversity in Indonesia to religious leaders in Mandalay, Myanmar, at Certificate Training Program on Religion and Rule of Law on 10-13 December 2019. This program was held by 2 US institutions, which are Institute for Global Engagement and Brigham Young University.<\/p>\n
Matius emphasized on the importance of multi-faith collaboration, and shared the Leimena Institute’s experience and program in Indonesia. The diversity of ethnics and religions in Indonesia set an interesting example to participants as Myanmar is still dealing with many ethnic and religion conflicts. Apart from the training, Matius also attended the interfaith dialogue with Buddhist, Muslim, and Christian leaders in Mandalay.<\/p>\n
