\u201cThis course makes me falling in love with Indonesia,\u201d said Karina Pasha Indiana, a student from Theological Studies program, class of 2018, STTRI Jakarta. Karina and 12 (twelve) other students joined Citizenship intensive course from July 22nd until July 26th, 2019. It was facilitated by Budi H. Setiamarga and Daniel Adipranata from Leimena Institute.<\/p>\n
The course was held for 5 (five) days, studying different aspects of responsible citizenship. As God\u2019s Kingdom citizen and Indonesia citizen, students were encouraged to walk through the struggling history of Indonesia independence, learn more about Constitution and how it plays the role in Indonesia democracy consolidation.<\/p>\n

On the third day, they visited Youth Pledge museum at Kramat Raya Street, Central Jakarta. In this clean and modern museum, they learned further about the youth struggle from different Jong (association), from all over Indonesia. They also competed in Instagram photo contest, elaborating what it means for current youth.<\/p>\n
Kalibata Heroes Cemetery was the final day destination in this course. Indonesia Independence was fought by different tribes and religions. It is obviously shown at the cemetery. The students visited the tomb of dr. Johannes Leimena, and also the tombs of D.I. Panjaitan, K.S. Tubun, T.B. Simatupang, and Latumenten. These heroes love the country and dedicate their lives for this homeland.<\/p>\n
